Lilianne Smith

Lilianne Smith, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), opened her private practice in Chapel Hill NC in 2011.  Since that time, she has incorporated her practice calling it L.O.V.E PLLC (Listen, Observe, Validate, Engage).  Lilianne is trained as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), enjoys working with children, but also enjoys working with a variety of ages.  Lilianne is an active part of the North Carolina Play Therapy Association and has served a three-year term as conference chair and Vice President on the North Carolina Chapter of the National Play Therapy Association.

Prior to attending graduate school to become a trained licensed therapist, Lilianne spent 17 years as a 1st grade classroom teacher.  Her education training took place in Western Canada, where Lilianne was born and raised until she moved to Alaska and then North Carolina with her husband and family.

Lilianne enjoys reading, going the beach, going for walks and spending time with family and friends.
